PHOENIX – Arizona broadcasters join together in tribute to icon Bill Heywood
and his wife, Susan, Friday evening, January 13th. Arizona media legends
participating in the tribute worked with or competed with Heywood while on
KTAR, KOY, KMLE, KNIX, KUPD, KRIZ, KRUX, KDKB, KFNN, KFNX and other
stations. The program will stream live from 7 to 9 p.m. on News Talk 92.3
KTAR or on www.ktar.com. It will be available as simulcast or playback to
stations Valley and state-wide.

Among the Arizona media legends participating in the live tribute are: Pat
McMahon, Preston Westmoreland, Bruce Kelly, Tim Hattrick, Jeff Scott,
Michael Dixon and Steve Wood. There will also be taped interviews with
Heidi Foglesong, Dave Pratt, Debbie Gaby, Mark Curtis and others.

“As the voice of Arizona radio, KTAR, is proud to bring the Arizona
community together in this time of healing and remembrance,” Ryan Hatch,

Business award and Arizona Women Education and Employment’s (AWEE) Angel
Trends award.
* Honored by Today’s Arizona Woman for his efforts on behalf of
women’s rights, a cause his beloved wife, Susan, also championed.
