PHOENIX — Tom Ambrose, a former Phoenix Suns executive who headed the
team’s public relations and charitable efforts for 37 years, reflects on
those halcyon days in his new book, Notes From the WACKO! File. Ambrose may
have stepped away from the Suns’ arena, but his sense of humor and stories
collected in the WACKO! File offer an amusing, insider’s perspective of one
of the NBA’s most respected franchises. To celebrate the publication’s
release, Ambrose will hold a book signing at Majerle’s (2 N. Second St.

Wednesday November 2nd from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Locked-out basketball fans
are encouraged to come by Majerle’s Sports Grill to have their books signed
by the author. A limited number of books will be available for sale at the
event. Information and advance copies of the book are available at the

charge for the Majerle’s event. Proceeds from book sales will benefit
Valley charities.
“I knew that I held onto these stories in my ‘WACKO! File’ all
these years for a reason,” Ambrose exclaimed. “I just didn’t realize how
many stories I had. WACKO! File ends with the Suns last game at the old
Coliseum. those were some great years in Suns’ history and I’m already
working on a sequel. I’m really looking forward to sharing the memories
with Suns fans at Majerle’s.”
